What is it?
The RBW-Skull is an exclusive product made specifically for all models of Harley Davidson, that is built with an electronic accelerator from the year 2008 until today. RBW-Skull is one device providing 5 performance modes for your bike. The technology RBW-Skull was designed for the aviation industry for safety and high performance. Due to its pattern design, the installation and uses are cutting edge and easy to install.
The device offers 5 performance settings: Storm, Easy-rider, Road, Freedom, and Anarchy. You can change the mode in real-time, something that has never been done before with Harley Davidson.
How does it work?
On the handlebar-mounted switch, the rider can select five engine modes to suit rides for different roads and weather conditions. On the left side of the switch, Easy Rider and Storm modes modulate less power to the motorcycle when you twist the throttle. On the right side of the switch, Freedom mode and Anarchy mode modulates more power to the motorcycle when you twist the throttle. Central position, Road mode, is your default performance mode.
Why should I install RBW-Skull 5 real-time maps?

Can I install it on my motorcycle?
The device is compatible with all Harley-Davidson models equipped with an electronic accelerator from 2008 to 2022.
Does a Harley-Davidson need different modes?
Harley-Davidsons do not have excessive power, but a very high engine torque given by the generous displacements that are always around 2000cc. The weight also makes it essential to control acceleration in case of rain.
I have a 2020 to 2023 model with a traction control system can I install it? Do I need it?
Yes, the traction control device works only with the ABS control unit and not with the engine map. The ABS strategy intervenes in case of panic. The engine mapping intervenes to prevent panic events. All Harley-Davidsons do not have it.
Does it only affect the throttle response?
The 5-mode RBW-Skull is not a simple add-on module, but an electronic control unit (ECM) equipped with the latest generation microchip for the automotive sector with a hardware and software strategy capable of making complex calculations in response to changes in the throttle of the Harley-Davidson motorcycle. The most prestigious brands now use this ride-by-wire technology as standard to have more engine mappings available to give the rider the opportunity to manage engine performance in real-time.
How is it installed?
The accelerator cable is interconnected with the device and the wiring that leads to the engine control module. ALL TOURING MODELS: the unit is positioned under the batwing of Street Glide and under the odometer of Road Glide. ALL SOFTAIL MODELS; the unit is positioned on the left side of the chassis near the fork plates by removing the rubber. ALL SOFTAIL 103 110; the unit is positioned on the left side of the chassis under the petrol tank. ALL ROAD KING: the unit is positioned behind the front light. On the handlebar-mounted skull, the selector switch connects with the ECM ride-by-wire 6-pin connection.
Does it increase power?
No. The power always remains unchanged, but the time taken to reach the desired speed changes radically. It is halved in the more aggressive Anarchy mode and doubled in the Storm mode which makes the bike a lot of fun or much safer in adverse weather or surface conditions. Models; 103 88hp, 110 98hp, 107 88hp, 114 90hp, 117 100hp. Here is the power of some of the most popular models. The power can only vary if physical modifications are made to the engine. (STAGE2 STAGE3 STAGE4 with which RBW-Skull 5 maps is always compatible) The maximum power available will be the same for all 5 modes the difference is how you want to get there.
Do I need to reprogram anything after installation?
No. when you receive the device it is ready for installation and does not require any settings.
Can I install it if I already have Screamin’ Eagle mapping or another tuning system?
It is compatible with any type of tuning device you have used previously or that you want to do in the future. It is also compatible with any engine stage 1 2 3 4.
Can I install it if I already have stage 1 stage 2 stage 3 stage 4?
Yes. The 5-map RBW-Skull is always compatible with any type of stage 1 2 3 4 and any model from 2008 to 2023 with an electronic accelerator.
Can I install it myself or do I have to rely on a mechanic?
It is advisable to rely on expert personnel for installation although it is very simple and requires a very limited time. (Plug-and-play 15/30 minutes depending on the model)
What is the difference between the RBW-Skull 5 maps and the Scremin’Eagle engine tuning accessories?
RBW-Skull is not a tuning device for the engine control unit. It does not change the data of the engine control unit. It is mounted externally and is compatible with stock ECMs or any type of aftermarket tuning on the market.
Where is it produced?
The device is entirely made in Italy. It is produced in the metropolitan area of Turin where there are cutting-edge companies for the research and development of innovative technologies dedicated to the automotive sector. The RBW-Skull device uses a hardware and software strategy with the latest generation micro-processes.

What happens in the 5 positions?
STORM MODE: Storm mode. Top for safety, designed for adverse weather conditions, capable of preventing rear wheel slippage during acceleration. The strategy of this mode partializes the opening by slowing down the opening times. The very high technological content of the electronic part is capable of controlling the acceleration curve.
EASY RIDER MODE: Easy-Ride. The perfect riding mode for city use, smooth and relaxed, ideal when combined with the Stage Screamin’ Eagle kit, acceleration will still be comfortable. In this mode, the temperature of your engine will be significantly lower.
ROAD MODE CENTRAL POSITION: Road Mode is the default mode(stock) of your bike. It is the bike as you have ridden it up to now, regardless of the tuning you have. RBW-Skull does not interfere with your modifications but amplifies its characteristics.
FREEDOM MODE: Freedom is the intermediate mode, between the default of your bike and Anarchy. It offers a sporty and comfortable ride, ideal for all tight routes. Capable of catapulting you out of the corners with maximum speed and maximum comfort. The bike will feel light and fast.
ANARCHY MODE: Anarchy is by far the most amazing and fun mode that will make you smile on the first try. Anarchy is for experienced pilots who want all the power right away. Using this mode is like riding an electric motorcycle, with all the potential in one second. No modifications can entertain you like RBW-Skull in Anarchy mode.
